Schedule: Monday-Friday, start time between 04:00 AM and 06:00 AM, shift will be at least 10hr shift.
Linehaul drivers will run daily trips from Plainfield IN to one of our terminals then return. This will travel to Chicago, Louisville, Cincinnati and/or Columbus then return. This is a home daily position and does not require driver to sleep in the truck, equipment driven will likely be a day cab.
PAY - The Linehaul Home daily runs are paid by trip and includes detention pay and additional stop pay after the first stop. Drivers on this position make between $1365-$1600 weekly GROSS. Pay is $265 per trip if traveling to Chicago, which will be the majority of the time. If you run to our Louisville or Cincy terminals trip pay is $210. Wait time is paid $30.00 per hour after the first hour and stop pay is paid for each stop per trip.
$150.00 6th day bonus ($150 bonus paid for working a 6th day on top of their wages for that day)
$1000.00 performance bonus paid after 6 months of employment. Driver must have no accidents, violations, good attendance etc to qualify. This is based on the driver's overall performance during the first 6 months of employment.
Duties are to represent PACE AIR FREIGHT in a professional manner a frontline employee representative ensuring the clients shipments are properly transported in a safe and timely fashion from the point of pick-up through to delivery. The driver must have an understanding of the documentation requirements as well as be trained in the handling of climate-controlled shipments. Must also follow and adhere to all regulatory bodies
Wage Range: 1365.00 - 1600.00 per week
General Description of Benefits: We offer a 6th day worked bonus of $150 on top of your regular wages for the day if you work 6 days. Benefits include, Medical, dental, vision, paid time off and more offered for all full-time employees. There is also a performance bonus of $1000 paid after 6 months employment for drivers that qualify according to their overall performance including safety, attendance, attitude etc.
